A little RUSTY

Personally I am not a hands on kind of gal. If it were up to me I would sketch all day and let others deal with the construction. (Diamond dreams , right?) Now that I finally have that little situation with the dressform almost done , I have started to fix it. I am reminded that while in theory it is noble to be able to do things yourself , who wants to be that noble?
One of the original things to be fixed was the rust on the base. Most of the time, you are instructed to use either sandpaper of soap free steel wool balls or a wire brush and scrape , scrape , scrape until you don't see red. It's a good thing the old housekeeper brought the wrong Brillo pads a year ago, so now I could put those to use. After 5 minutes of that I felt like Cinderella and I couldn't do that. I went to True Value and told them my problem and they gave me Rust-Oleum. After a MINOR scraping I painted this stuff on top and in minutes the base looked BRAND NEW. I loved it. Use it and let me know.
