In fashion (once again , thanks to Project Runway ), no one is impressed with someone who only knows how to design or sew. You have to be a Designer/Model/Basket weaver/Illustrator/Sewer/Rock star/Movie Producer/ Bungee Jumper JUST TO GET A JOB. Got help you if you actually have responsibilities like rent, children, or maintaining your Jimmy Choos. You need to do more to survive, be noticed and stay ahead of the game. I don't care if you are sweeping the floor at Issey Miyake. You need that extra slash and you need to let people know you have it. Personally, I recommend How to handle 1,000 things at once by Don Aslett. The man is funny, real, and addictive. People, If he can get MY right brained, artistic, never organized self into gear in a week AFTER 30 there is hope for everyone. Trust me, stop waiting around for a benefactor and get it done yourself!
